GoFundMe: Help Joppa Man Recover From Spinal Injury
David Miller is recovering from breaking two vertebrae after falling from a hunting stand in November.

On Nov. 16, Joppa native David Miller was hunting with a friend in Hershey, PA, when his life changed instantly.
Miller fell 15 feet from a hunting stand, and it left him with no feeling in his legs, two broken vertebrae, broken ribs and bruised lungs. After surgery to repair his spine, Miller still had no feeling in his legs.
"We were told he still didn't have feeling in his legs and that from here on out it will be a waiting game to see his recovery," said family member Linda Miller.
In the days since, David has been through daily therapy, but he faces a number of bills from surgery and rehabilitation.
But through GoFundMe, anyone can donate to help David pay for his medical and recovery expenses. In six days, 34 people have donated more than $1,700.
You can read more about David's path to recovery in a journal on the CaringBridge website here.
