Help Fill the Perry Hall Time Capsule

The time capsule will be buried in September to commemorate the school's 50-year anniversary.

Do not be alarmed if you see Councilman David Marks carrying a tiny coffin around sometime between now and September. Rest assured, all is well at the Marks house.

Instead, start thinking of items to fill the infant crypt, which will serve as Perry Hall High School's time capsule.

To celebrate the school's 50-year anniversary, dignitaries will bury the crypt on Sept. 3, 2013 to kick-off a series of ceremonious events.

"We are asking for Perry Hall graduates to consider contributing artifacts," Marks said. "I will be donating a copy of my Perry Hall history book."

An old photograph. A Varsity letter. A  yearbook. What kind of items will you contribute to the time capsule? Start talking about Perry Hall High School's history (and your favorite memories) in the comments section below.

The crypt, by the way, is also being donated by Perry Hall High School alumnus Michael Canapp, who works at Singleton Funeral Home.

Anyone interested in donating can contact Todd Sautters by email at tsautters@bcps.org or by phone at (330) 705-9975.
