Improvements Coming to Perry Hall Ball Fields
County Councilman David Marks announced three fields in the area will have improvements made through the spring of 2014.

Three area baseball fields will be spruced up over the offseason, according to an announcement Monday by County Councilman David Marks.
Marks said improvements will be made to two baseball fields at Honeygo Run Regional Park and another at Perry Hall Elementary School.
Marks thanked Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz and his staff for making the park projects a county priority. In October, the county also broke ground on the future sports fields at Gough Park.
"In addition to these improvements to our existing fields, Baltimore County will build three new parks in Perry Hall over the next year," Marks said in the statement. "No community has so many parks being built at once."
Crews will begin skinning Field 1 at Honeygo Run Regional Park in early November. The turf and dirt from Field 1 will be used to repair the mound and infield on Field 2, while the shared outfield will remain a priority for future repairs, according to the release.
The ball field at Perry Hall Elementary School will be skinned by the spring of 2014.
Tim Bonner, a Perry Hall Recreation Council volunteer, credited Marks with making the ball field refresh possible.
"Councilman Marks got personally involved to improve these fields, and I would like to thank him for his support of our recreation program," Bonner said in the release.
