Improvements Coming to Stream Valley Near Perry Hall High School
The Magnolia Stormwater Retrofit Project will restore and stabilize the stream valley near the school and nearby homes.

Baltimore County Councilman David Marks announced an environmental improvement project will begin after Thanksgiving, in a stream valley near Perry Hall High School.
The Magnolia Stormwater Retrofit Project will stabilize the stream bank, behind homes on Kilkenny Circle and Torpoint Road, with large rocks, seeding and native vegetation, according to a statement from Marks.
"As a resident of Kilkenny Circle, I know many of the neighbors who will be impacted by this project, but I also want the broader Perry Hall community to understand how this will affect properties further along the stream valley," Marks said. "The project should prevent future erosion and improve the quality of water that flows to White Marsh Run and the Chesapeake Bay."
Angler Environmental Inc. will head the project for the county and construction is scheduled for weekdays through April 2014.
