Joppa Road Bridge To Close For 4 Months: Councilman

PERRY HALL, MD — Joppa Road is closed in Perry Hall between Kahl Avenue and Ryans Way. According to the Baltimore County Department of Public Works, the road closed Thursday, Jan. 21.

The closure will allow for repairs to a small bridge over Honeygo Run, Councilman David Marks told constituents on Facebook.

During that time, traffic will be detoured onto Ebenezer Road and Honeygo Boulevard, he said.

Restoration will require a four-month closure, according to Marks, who said the concrete bridge was nearly 80 years old. It was built in the 1940s and widened in the 1960s.

However, he noted, there would be access to Honeygo Elementary School.
