Patch: How long have you been doing business in town?

Kimbler: I have lived and worked in Baltimore County my entire life. In particular, my law office reopened in December 2019 after a hiatus in 2019 following six years of practice as a home-based business.
Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?
Kimbler: I became a lawyer after an exercise in high school piqued my interest in law. I gravitated toward family law following seven years representing the Baltimore County Department of Social Services in child welfare cases.
Patch: If you had to sum up your business mission to a stranger in five words, what would those words be?
Kimbler: Compassionate, experienced, supportive legal approach.
Patch: What’s the biggest challenge or most difficult moment you’ve faced in your job?
Kimbler: Dealing with clients in what often is the most challenging time of their lives.
Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?
Kimbler: Achieving permanency for families.

Patch: How would you say your business or organization distinguishes itself from the others?
Kimbler: My law office offers people a different, client-centered approach to family law, which includes support and compassion.
Patch: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given when it comes to success?
Kimbler: Play to your strengths and never be afraid to listen to different points of view. Doing that is how one learns, grows and flourishes.
Patch: Are there any new projects or endeavors you’re working on?
Kimbler: I'm excited to operate this new law practice in my home community of Perry Hall. My firm has over 18 years of practice with over 13 years of focus on child welfare, family issues and child custody. After spending time working for an experienced firm in Anne Arundel County, I am excited to be able to serve the needs of my home community.
