Mac And Cheese Restaurant Coming To White Marsh

A company specializing in made-to-order macaroni and cheese bowls will open several locations in Maryland, including one near Perry Hall.

WHITE MARSH, MD — A restaurant specializing in macaroni and cheese is coming to Maryland.

I Heart Mac & Cheese, which offers build-your-own bowls of macaroni and cheese as well as grilled cheese sandwiches, just announced three areas where the fast-casual eatery plans to open, including White Marsh.

Childhood best friends Fred and Mike will operate franchise locations in White Marsh, Bel Air, and Fallston, according to a news release from I Heart Mac & Cheese, which said they also plan two locations in Indiana, in Schererville and Valparaiso.

Fred lives in Indiana, and Mike lives in Maryland, a company spokesperson told Patch, noting the corporate policy is only to identify them by their first names.

Exact locations and dates for opening were not available as of Tuesday, Feb. 9, and are contingent on factors like construction and financing.

The franchise agreement marks the first restaurants in Maryland for I Heart Mac & Cheese, which began in south Florida in 2016 and has since expanded to other states, including New York, Georgia, Indiana and Texas.
