Meet The Perry Hall 2018 Boston Marathon Runners
See who from Perry Hall is running one of the world's most famous races this Monday.

BOSTON, MA — The 122nd running of the Boston Marathon takes place Monday, April 16. In Boston, Patriots Day has grown to take on a larger meaning as one of the great days of sport and human triumph. Runners from across the globe flock to be tested by the 26.2-mile course from the Hopkinton start line to the famous Boylston Street finish line.
See the list below to find out who from Perry Hall is running. If you see them jogging around town, give them a thumbs up. They’ve earned it!
- Gwyneth Lewis, 50
- Sandi Simon, 51
Both Lewis and Simon started in the third wave of runners at 10:50 a.m.

Lewis reached the halfway point at 12:56:45 p.m., according to race organizers. She is expected to finish after 3 p.m.
Simon was halfway through the race at 12:56:28 p.m. and is also expected to finish shortly after 3 p.m.

Conditions were soggy, resulting in slower times for some, and extra bibs for elite runners contending for first place in case they had to shed layers along the 26.2-mile course.

The longest amount of time runners can take to finish and still receive an official time is 5 hours and 25 minutes.
Different athletes start at different times. Here are the start times for each group:
- Mobility Impaired: 8:40 a.m.
- Men's Push-Rim Wheelchair: 9:02 a.m.
- Women's Push-Rim Wheelchair: 9:04 a.m.
- Handcycles and Duos: 9:25 a.m.
- Elite Women: 9:32 a.m.
- Elite Men and Wave One: 10 a.m.
- Wave Two: 10:25 a.m.
- Wave Three: 10:50 a.m.
- Wave Four: 11:15 a.m.
