Northeast Elementary School Construction To Start This Summer
The Board of Education for Baltimore County approved more than $48 million in contracts to build the new northeast elementary school.

PERRY HALL, MD — A new northeastern elementary school will be built starting early this summer, according to Baltimore County Public Schools officials. The project will be complete by 2022, officials said.
The Baltimore County Board of Education approved $48.3 million in construction contracts for the new Northeast Elementary School at Ridge Road, according to board member Julie Henn.
"There were a series of 15 contracts for construction of a new school in the northeast part of the county, which is northeast elementary school at Ridge Road," Pradeep Dixit, executive director of facilities management for the school system, said at Tuesday night's board meeting.

"The project is going to start sometime early this summer, and targeted to be completed for opening in August 2022," Dixit said.

- $330,341 for waste management
- $327,800 for painting
- $237,490 for kitchen equipment
- $213,676 for inspections and testing
