
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch over Baltimore and 11 other Maryland counties.Â
The watch will remain valid until 10 p.m. Thursday evening. A tornado watch is not as severe as a tornado warning.Â
A hazardous weather outlook is also in effect, according to the National Weather Service.
Specifically for Perry Hall:Â
This afternoon:Â Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 4pm. Some storms could be severe, with gusty winds and heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 89. South wind around 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Tonight:Â Showers and thunderstorms likely before 10pm, then a slight chance of showers between 10pm and midnight. Some of the storms could be severe. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72. Southwest wind 7 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
