Oysterfest To Mark Grand Opening Of White Marsh Restaurant
The grand opening for the dual-concept restaurant on The Avenue at White Marsh includes activities for the whole family.
WHITE MARSH, MD — Wayward Smokehouse and the Curius Oyster will hold a grand opening this weekend on The Avenue at White Marsh.
The dual-concept restaurant opened Oct. 16 where Don Pablo's used to be on The Avenue.
The Curious Oyster features seafood with "culinary twists," such as lobster pot pie. Wayward Smokehouse offers barbecue and comfort food, with a southern influence.

The Oysterfest 2019 grand opening party will be Saturday, from noon to 6 p.m.
- A ribbon cutting will take place at noon.
- A family friendly kiddie corner will be available from noon to 3 p.m., with face painting and balloon twisting.
- The Oyster Recovery Partnership will be on-site from noon to 4 p.m.
- Live music will be on tap all day — Unity Reggae Band from 12:30 to 3 p.m., The Loop from 3 to 6 p.m.
- An after-party featuring retired Baltimore Raven Ed Reed is set for 10 p.m.
