PERRY HALL, MD — There are 32 cases of the new coronavirus in Perry Hall in the 21128 ZIP code, according to data released Tuesday, an increase of five since a week ago. To protect the privacy of those who have tested positive for the virus, Baltimore County is not reporting on ZIP codes with fewer than seven cases, which is the situation in neighboring areas of White Marsh, Fork, Glen Arm and Joppa.

In Baltimore County, officials say 4,920 people have tested positive for the virus as of Tuesday, May 19. A total of 247 people have died from COVID-19, the respiratory disease caused by the virus, while 16 deaths are attributed to COVID-19, with test results pending.

In Maryland, 41,546 people have tested positive for the virus; 1,963 people have died from COVID-19; and test results are pending for 118 others, according to the Maryland Department of Health.

Where To Get Tested For Coronavirus

These symptoms of the coronavirus can appear two to 14 days after exposure, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC): fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, sore throat and new loss of taste or smell.
