Perry Hall Crime: 2 Caught Attempting to Break Into Vacant Home

Crime Log

Tisbury Court, unit block, between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m., June 11. A burglar stole two 36-inch LCD television sets, a Dell laptop computer and three video game consoles. A neighbor witnessed the homeowner’s daughter use a ladder to sneak in through an upstairs window. No charges have been filed.

Belair Road, 9600 block, between 4:30 p.m., June 8 and 4:21 p.m., June 10. A burglar broke a doorknob to a local businesses to get inside the business’ garage, although nothing was reported stolen. The destroyed door and doorknob were valued at $1,200.

Bellington Court, unit block, 12:08 a.m., June 7. Two men were arrested for attempting to break into a vacant house and shed. New York resident Andrew David Devlin, 26, and Robert Kevin King, a 21-year-old Perry Hall man were each charged with burglary in the first degree among other charges. No property was reported stolen.

Belair Road, 9700 block, 11:45 p.m., June 6. A burglar stole four 50-pound coils of copper wire from a BGE facility. The stolen copper however was later recovered by police.
