Perry Hall Crime: Burglar Distracts Man, Steals Laptop

A burglar stole a laptop out of a Perry Hall man’s apartment after causing a distraction, according to a police report.

The burglar knocked on the man’s front door in the 4800 block of Berryhill Circle, before running around to the back of the apartment.

At 9:02 p.m. on June 15, the burglar broke in, damaging the rear screen door in the process.

The thief took an HP laptop valued at $1,249. Damages to the screen door were estimated at about $200, according to the report.
