Perry Hall Family Raising Money for Cancer-Stricken Friend
A 35-year-old single father needs help getting healthy and preparing for his daughter's future.

A local family is trying to raise money for the best man at their wedding—a single father recently diagnosed with stage-4 bone cancer and brain tumors.
Kara McHugh, of Perry Hall, created a GoFundMe fundraiser page to help her family's friend, Ross, as he deals with chemotherapy treatment for stage-4 bone cancer and meningioma.
McHugh describes Ross as a 35-year-old, eager to help, who puts his daughter first.
"She is his entire world," McHugh wrote. "When you have conversations with him, that's pretty much all he ever talks about is his daughter."
Her family hopes the money will help Ross get healthy and continue to support his daughter.
