Perry Hall Lax Alumni to Honor Title-Winning Team at Half of Dulaney Clash
It was 20 years ago that the Gators of Perry Hall toppled the Lions from Timonium for the first time, before going on to win the county championship.

The Perry Hall Lacrosse Alumni Association will celebrate the 20-year anniversary of the team's first county championship this Wednesday at the halftime of its game against rivals Dulaney High School.
"It just happened to be the first time they beat Dulaney High School [20 years ago]," Phil Rossetti, president of the association, said. Â
On May 11, 1993, Perry Hall finally beat the dominant Lions 11-7 before going on to win the county championship. The Gators would again knock-off the team from Timonium 9-8 in the 3A-4A state semifinals.Â

Rossetti was a freshman at Perry Hall back in 1995 when the Gators last beat Dulaney in regular season play. He believes the current 3-0 Gators will be a challenge for the Lions and is looking forward to jump-start a storied Baltimore County rivalry.Â
"We need to renew that," Rossetti said.Â
The teams will face off at 6:30 p.m. under the lights at Perry Hall High School on Wednesday April 10.Â
Do the Gators have what it takes?Â
