Perry Hall: Meet Your New Editor
I am a three-year veteran of Patch and bring reporting experience from all around central Maryland.

Any dedicated readers of Perry Hall Patch have probably noticed a change in bylines over the past few days—and that's because I am now the local editor of Perry Hall Patch.
In discussions with Patch colleagues, I have learned this site has a broad and dedicated readership, cultivated by the past editors. So I am eager to get to know many of you and help the community interact through the site.
Full disclosure: I am not a Perry Hall resident and I know very little about the community. I have reported in Prince George's, Howard and Anne Arundel Counties, but not Baltimore County.
That said, I have learned to adapt to my reporting positions and I try my best to immerse myself into the issues closest to the community.
But I can't do it all by myself—I need your help! Please send me news tips or ideas for stories at brian.hooks@patch.com or through Facebook.
And if you think I am not doing justice by some issue near Perry Hall, please blog about it! Your neighbors will thank you.
I know your impressions of me will mostly be shaped by the stories with my byline, but here's a little Q&A so you can get to know Brian Hooks, the person:
