Perry Hall Panthers To Perform At Baltimore County Tree Lighting

The Baltimore County Christmas tree lighting will feature a group from Perry Hall.

TOWSON, MD — The Perry Hall Middle School Panthers will perform at this week's Baltimore County Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Towson. The event will be held on Friday, Nov. 30.

Both County Executive Don Mohler and County Executive-Elect John Olszewski Jr. will be at the annual event.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive by fire truck for the affair as well.

The official lighting of the Baltimore County Christmas tree will be at approximately 6:22 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30.

Afterward, the Perry Hall Middle School Panthers will provide live music, and so will the Gold Starz Marching Band of Baltimore. The Anna Apicella School of Dance will also perform.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit with children once the tree is lit. Parents, be sure to bring your cameras.

Complimentary hot chocolate and cookies will be available, and so will an abundance of holiday spirit.

The festivities will run from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, at Olympic Park, at the corner of Allegheny Avenue and the Joppa traffic circle in downtown Towson.

Free parking will be available at 111 Allegheny Avenue in the garage from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30.

From 4:30-8:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, there will be a road closure for the event: Allegheny Avenue will be closed from Washington Avenue to the traffic circle.
