Pet Supply Store In Perry Hall Celebrates Grand Opening Weekend

PERRY HALL, MD — Pet Nirvana has set up shop in Perry Hall.

The store offers a variety of pet food, pet treats and pet health products; leashes, collars, toys and other items; as well as grooming amenities from self-serve pet washes to a full-service groomer.

Located where Pet Valu used to be at the Honeygo Village Center, the store held a soft launch in March. The previous tenant — a national retailer that had hundreds of stores — closed all its U.S. locations in 2020 and cited coronavirus restrictions.

Pet Nirvana is a local business that began in 2015 in Harford County, where it has a store in Bel Air's Greenbrier Shopping Center. It has been expanding, opening a second location in 2019.

This weekend to celebrate its grand opening in Perry Hall, the store at the Honeygo Village Center will offer 25 percent off everything in the shop, including treats, leashes, collars, toys and health products. Grooming services are not included in the sale.

Pet foods will be 15 percent off this weekend too.

The owners say they strive to provide American-made and sourced pet foods without corn, wheat, soy and byproducts.

Some — like Abingdon-based VeRUS and K-9 Kraving of Baltimore — are locally made.

Pet Nirvana will celebrate the grand opening with samples and discounts on Saturday, May 1, and Sunday, May 2, at Honeygo Village Center, 5007 Honeygo Center Dr Perry Hall, MD 21128.
