Sights And Sounds From The Town Fair

Did we mention squeals of delight?

Judging by the fun it appeared the crowds were having, it may be that any ill will over moving the annual Perry Hall Town Fair out of Perry Hall has eased.

Hundreds of residents Saturday poured into the annual festival, which supports local businesses.

"This is a wonderful regional community event. Lynn Richardson and the other organizers deserve credit for putting on a first-class fair," said Dennis Robinson, president of the Perry Hall Improvement Association.

"I hesitate to comment regarding the location of the fair, but I will address it because I know others will," he continued.

"I understand that some people have strong opinions about the location. Frankly, most of the people who complain probably would not volunteer their time to help with the event regardless of where it is held.

"Having an event where families from around the area can have fun together and support local businesses at the same time make this event a success wherever it is."
