Baltimore County received a light coating of snow overnight.
The following unofficial measurements were submitted to the National Weather Service Friday morning:
- Kingsville—2.6 inches; measured at 7 a.m.
- White Marsh—2.6 inches; measured at 7 a.m.
- Long Green—2.3 inches; measured at 7 a.m.
- Towson—2 inches; measured at 8:30 a.m.
- Cylburn—2 inches; measured at 8 a.m.
Leonardtown in St. Mary's County got the most reported snow in Maryland, with 7 inches, according to preliminary data submitted to the National Weather Service.

Public schools in central Maryland, including Baltimore County, carried on as usual Friday morning. Garrison Forest School in Owings Mills opened at 10 a.m., with officials attributing the delay to "the condition of the campus."
In areas of the state where there was slightly more snow, there were some modifications. Schools in Calvert County opened two hours late, while schools in Wicomico County and Worcester County were closed due to inclement weather.
