This Week: Holiday Food Drive, Snow Possible

Let Patch help you get through this week with a few bits o' useful information.

Weather: Temperatures will be cool throughout the week, with highs in the mid-40s, overnight lows in the 20s, and rain—possibly mixed with snow—on Tuesday and Wednesday according to The Weather Channel.

What's Happening: Baltimore County Police Precinct 9 is accepting Christmas gift donations for families of veterans at Walter Reed Medical Center. Seven Oaks Elementary is also accepting monetary donations toward a memorial sculpture honoring educator Danitra Bundy. On Thursday, Art & Strength is having a holiday food drive and open workout.

What You're Saying: Patch reader Marty Warren says people and stores should make shopping on holidays happen if they so choose, "If people don't shop, the stores will close. If people do shop, the stores will stay open. Too many times, public perception is developed by a very vocal minority, the media. LET THE MARKETS DECIDE."
