Today in Perry Hall: 'Little Rich Girl Comes Down, Clear Skies and More

It's Monday, July 29. Here's all you need to know.

Weather: This weekend was a little rainy, but there are clear skies on the horizon. This Accuweather forecast shows a high of 83 and a low of 63 degrees today.

What You're Saying: Perry Hall Patch reader Gary Staab says:

"
It's a sad day when tearing down a part of Perry Hall history is looked at like a feather in ones cap. And don't tell me that house doesn't have significance to Perry Hall! George Washington may not have slept there but it has stood for more than a hundred years.

"Home to one of Perry Halls oldest families. If it had been maintained as it should have been, and violations given for the lack of, it wouldn't look as it does and could be a vital part of the Perry Hall business community as many other very old buildings and houses in that area are.

"The owners have a right to do as they wish, but don't tell me the space is needed to expand the parking for the TT diner. They don't even use the space they have now. That house is solid as a rock and could have been renovated for use as a law office or other similar business. There's far more to this story than what's being told. Story to soon follow for sure."
