Tractor-Trailer Tips On I-695 Near Parkville

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A tractor-trailer crash temporarily blocked traffic on Interstate 695 for drivers on the inner loop Friday morning. The crash happened before the morning rush hour, according to transportation officials.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash, which authorities said closed all lanes to traffic around 5 a.m. on the inner loop near the exit for MD 43/White Marsh Boulevard.

The beltway was closed between Harford and Belair roads as crews attempted to upright the tractor-trailer, which had tipped onto its side, WBAL reported at 7 a.m.

After 8:30 a.m., the cleanup was continuing, and traffic was getting by on the left.
