Tree Lighting On The Avenue At White Marsh Set For Friday
The Avenue at White Marsh will host its annual tree lighting on Friday, Nov. 16.

WHITE MARSH, MD — The Avenue at White Marsh will kick off the holiday season this Friday, Nov. 16. The shopping destination will host its annual tree lighting, complete with a visit from Santa.
This will be the 21st annual tree lighting, according to a statement from The Avenue at White Marsh.
Holiday music and giveaways will start at 6 p.m., Santa will arrive at 7 p.m., and the tree lighting will follow.

WMAR anchor Jamie Costello will be emceeing the event.
There will be an opportunity to skate with Santa afterward on the ice rink, where Red Brick Station will be providing complimentary hot chocolate and cookies. The rink will be open until 11 p.m.

Organizers wanted to alert the community that Santa Len has retired, so there will be a new Santa this year who will help usher in the holiday season.
This is the first of the events at the shopping center to ring in the holidays. A holiday parade is planned on The Avenue at White Marsh on Saturday, Dec. 1.

The 21st annual tree lighting will start with holiday music and giveaways at 6 p.m. The tree lighting will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, at The Avenue at White Marsh, 8125 Honeygo Boulevard.
