UFOs Seen Over Perry Hall

The mystery of the green and red lights over Perry Hall has been solved. (Or has it?)

The sad truth is, there still isn't conclusive evidence that we're not alone.

But while it's likely a series of green and red lights sparkling over Perry Hall had a very logical explanation, they still had Perry Hall'ers gossiping of UFOs spotted in Baltimore County. Watch the attached video to draw your own conclusions.

The date? May 30. The time? About 9:30 p.m. The Twilight Zone? Have you seen it?

"At approximately 9:25-9:30 at night - at home, watching TV with mom, when we hear dad called out, "Strange lights outside!" Immediately we ran out to see reddish orange, glowing orbs moving in a seamless, straight line, appearing over the house line from a southeasterly direction," an eye-witness reported to the blog Mass UFO Sightings.

Meanwhile, Perry Hall Patch Facebook fan Jennifer Lauren Vivian Young posed a simple question to our 5,000 Facebook followers:

Did anyone catch the huge flock of bright green lights in the sky around 945pm?! Anyone know what that was?!

Fellow Facebook fan MC DeSimone replied:

We weren't the only ones though... I posted about it on Baltimore County Breaking News's page and others in the area saw it too! It was the most unreal thing I have ever seen!

The news spread on Twitter. Twitter user Tony Roman, aka @A__Roman wrote:

Green blinking lights above perry hall? #what#aliens

#What indeed?

Residents between Fullerton and Perry Hall saw the colored lights in the sky—red, orange and green (depending upon who you ask). Police could not account for the cause of the late night light display. (Yes, I actually called police.)

Mulder and Scully were en route, that is, until Young's friend I-D'd the UFOs.

I found out what the green lights were! They were balloons with LED lights in them, my friend found one in her backyard!

Questions however, abound: Was this the work of some dastardly (read: brilliant) prankster? Is Young being forced to lie by a secret government organization? What purpose did LED-laden helium balloons serve? Are we still alone?

The answers are probably yes, no, rave and I'd like to think not, but you can continue the conversation in the comments section below or on our Facebook page.
