What's Open, Closed In Baltimore County For Easter 2021

Here's a look at what's open in Baltimore County on Easter and Good Friday.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Easter 2021 marks our second amid the coronavirus pandemic, which means some people in Baltimore County and throughout our state may again opt to forgo the traditional Easter celebrations for smaller, more socially distanced festivities.

Whether you're planning a meal, heading to a movie or crossing items off your spring to-do list, it's helpful to know which restaurants and stores are open before you head out or when the mail and trash will be collected.

Here’s a look at what’s open and closed in Baltimore County this Easter:

Baltimore County Animal Services: The shelter will be closed Sunday to the public due to Easter. It will be open Friday but the regular trap, neuter, return program is canceled; it will resume Friday, April 9.

Government Offices: Baltimore County government offices will be open Friday.

Courts: Baltimore County courts will be open Friday, and so will others around the state.

Libraries: Branches are open Friday and Saturday but closed Sunday, according to the schedule.

Parking Meters: These are still in effect during specified hours of operation.

Post Offices: Post offices will be open Friday but closed Sunday. Some post offices have Saturday hours.

Trash and Recycling: Collection will proceed as usual.

Trains: The MARC train and Light RailLink will run Friday and Sunday.

  • Ace Hardware: Closed
  • CVS: Most stores will be open normal hours.
  • DSW: Closed
  • Dollar General: Open regular hours.
  • Home Depot: Open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Kohl's: Closed
  • TJ Maxx: Closed
  • Walgreens: Open regular hours.
  • Walmart: Open regular hours.

  • Domino's
  • Dunkin' Donuts
  • IHOP
  • KFC
  • McDonald's
  • Olive Garden
  • Starbucks
  • Taco Bell
  • TGI Fridays
