White Marsh Boulevard Bridge Dedicated To 2 Perry Hall Soldiers
Two Perry Hall High School alumni, Sgt. Eric Houck and Staff Sgt. Christopher Moudry, were honored with a bridge.

PERRY HALL, MD — A bridge in Perry Hall was dedicated to two fallen soldiers who graduated from Perry Hall High School.
The bridge over White Marsh Boulevard now bears a sign honoring Sgt. Eric Houck and Staff Sgt. Christopher Moudry.
Both died while serving in the Middle East, according to Councilman David Marks, who joined other community leaders in the bridge dedication over the weekend.

Among those in attendance were family members of both men.
"They'll never die as long as people are saying their names," Mike Houck said at the ceremony dedicating the bridge, according to WJZ.

His son, Sgt. Eric Houck, 25, was killed in June 2017 in the Nangarhar Province of Afghanistan while serving Operation Freedom's Sentinel.
Staff Sgt. Christopher Moudry, 31, was killed Oct. 4, 2006, in Taji, Iraq, according to Capital News Service, which reported he was in the class of 1993 at Perry Hall High School.
The bridge dedication Saturday morning took place at American Freight Furniture and Mattress at 8200 Belair Road, overlooking the bridge, according to the Perry Hall Improvement Association, which helped organize the event.
