The Parkour gym owners Edwin and Tony Torres tried out to become the next aforementioned ninja warriors when the showed filmed in Baltimore over a rainy May weekend.
The two-day shoot was condensed to one due to heavy rain with competitors bracing for two runs through a man-made iron obstacle course, well into the earlier morning. Tony Torres completed his run at 5 a.m., for instance.
Neither brother could indicate how they performed ahead of the show's air date.
The gym at 10939 Philadelphia Rd. has grown considerably in the eight months that it has been open in White Marsh. The Torres brothers are remarkably handy, exemplified by the craftsmanship found in all of the obstacles they've made for their members to practice on.Â
But now they may need a little help.
The gym is $365 shy of its funding goal for new rubber flooring in the gym's Parkour area.
"Now, as I'm sure most of you have experienced, the floor can sometimes separate causing people to slip," reads a statement on the crowd-funding site GoFundMe.com.
