White Marsh Testing Company To Host Job Fair For Customer Service Reps

Testing company Prometric announced in January that the opening of its $12 million global operations center in White Marsh would bring 250 jobs to Baltimore County.

The company begins to make good on that promise Friday.

Prometric is hosting a job fair for customer service representatives on May 10, from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Hampton Inn Baltimore/White Marsh.

Spokesman Kevin Kane said the company is looking for “people that place test-takers first, have concerns for their needs and understand the fuller picture to help someone improve their life.”

There are 56 customer service positions available immediately. Read more about the position here. The new operations center is scheduled to open officially in its permanent location at 7941 Corporate Dr. in White Marsh in early June.

"Candidates should arrive with copies of their résumés and be prepared to meet with recruiters and hiring managers," a release states. The Hampton Inn is located at 8225 Town Center Dr. in White Marsh.

So what exactly does Prometric do?

"Prometric's Global Operations hub supports more than 10 million certification exams per year over a network of 8,200 test sites in more than 160 countries," the release states. "Prometric conducts testing on behalf of 400 clients in the academic, financial, government, healthcare, professional, corporate and information technology markets."
