Wreck Closed I-95 Near I-695 Friday Afternoon

Interstate 95 north was temporarily closed to traffic, except for the Express Toll Lanes.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Interstate 95 north was jammed due to a crash in Baltimore County Friday afternoon, according to officials.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash around 4 p.m., according to state transportation officials. It took about an hour to clear the wreck.

All lanes were shut down on I-95 north past the exit for I-695 after the crash, in the area of mile marker 65.6, officials said, except for the Express Toll Lanes.

Before 4:30 p.m., authorities reported the right lanes had reopened.

By 5:10 p.m., the Maryland Transportation Authority reported all lanes were open.
