Auditions for "Les Miserables" in Havre de Grace

Thanks to the Tidewater Players, the fifth longest running show in Broadway history is coming to Havre de Grace. Les Miserables, the classic musical based upon the novel by Victor Hugo, will be presented by the Tidewater Players from April 24 through May 10. Before they can bring this masterpiece to the stage, however, they are holding auditions next weekend.

Auditions will be at the Havre de Grace Opera House, 121 North Union Avenue, on Saturday, January 17th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and Sunday, January 18th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. All roles are open. They are looking for 15-17 men and 13-15 women in a wide age range from 18 to 60. They are also looking for two girls and one boy in the age range of 8 to 12.

All actors are asked to please bring sheet music and be prepared to sing 16 bars that best illustrate your vocal abilities. An accompanist will be provided.
