Bank Robbery Suspect Dies In Cecil County House Fire: Report
BREAKING: A man wanted by the FBI reportedly died when he barricaded himself inside a Rising Sun home where fire broke out Sunday night.

RISING SUN, MD - The man suspected in four bank robberies in recent weeks reportedly died in a house fire in Rising Sun on Sunday night. The FBI had tracked the man to a house on McGrady Road, where he barricaded himself in the basement around 9:30 p.m. when the house caught fire, according to WJZ. He was not identified pending next of kin notification.
The FBI had released photos this week of the man, who was wanted in four bank robberies in Baltimore County.
Authorities had described the suspect as an armed and dangerous white man of small build who was 5-feet-9-inches tall, 150 pounds and 35 to 45 years old.

In the robberies, which occurred Oct. 30 to Nov. 10, the FBI said the suspect walked into banks, demanded cash using a note and left on foot.
The most recent robberies occurred in Towson on Friday, Nov. 10, according to Fox 45, which reported the suspect allegedly robbed two banks in 20 minutes: Suntrust in the 1600 block of East Joppa Road at 4:50 p.m. and MECU in the 8500 block of Loch Raven Boulevard at 5:08 p.m.

Before that, the suspect was accused of robbing two banks in Parkville — M&T Bank in the 8200 block of Harford Road on Friday, Nov. 3, and M&T Bank in the 8800 block of Waltham Woods Road on Monday, Oct. 30 — according to the FBI.
Officers tried to serve a warrant at a house in Rising Sun where they had tracked the suspect, and the man was found deceased inside, according to WJZ, which reported he was the only person there at the time of the fire.
