Elkton, MD: Cecil County Executive Danielle Hornberger is pleased to announce the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the Video Lottery Terminal (VLT) Grant Program for FY 2022. Because Cecil County has a video lottery terminal (Casino) in the county, a competitive grant fund has been established to allow local nonprofit and not-for-profit organizations and state, county and municipal government agencies to apply for funding to provide services and supports to the community in alignment with identified needs. Grant applications must indicate how the funding will be used to address the needs of the community and/or population served in one of four purpose areas, as identified in the County’s strategic plan: Economic Development, Education, Infrastructure, or Safe, Healthy and Active Communities.
