Fire On Bainbridge Property Under Investigation
The fire marshal is investigating the fire near Bainbridge early Sunday morning in Cecil County.

PORT DEPOSIT, MD — Fire broke out in Port Deposit early Sunday morning on the site of the Bainbridge property, according to the Office of the State Fire Marshal. A vacant house was the site of the blaze.
A passerby reported the fire in the 700 block of Jacob Tome Memorial Highway at 12:59 a.m. on Sunday, the fire marshal said.
About 30 firefighters, led by the Water Witch Volunteer Fire Company, battled the blaze. They brought the fire under control in an hour.

The Bainbridge Development Corporation owns the property.
No injuries were reported, and there was no damage, according to the fire marshal.
