Prepare to Roll in the Aisles for "Alarms and Excursions!"

The Lewis Lane Players will present Michael Frayn's hilarious farce "Alarms and Excursions" this Friday and Saturday!

Modern technology is meant to make our lives easier, but all too often it seems to simply provide new forms of torture! Michael Frayn, author of the classic farce ”Noises Off!,” has done it again. “Alarms and Excursions” gives you eight comedies for the price of one. Come out & see this farcical collection of skits that takes every day ordinary situations that sometimes frustrate us to their comical extremes.

Ever had a day when the phone is ringing at the same time as the doorbell & the oven timer? Remember the day when that phone was tied to one place because it was not cordless or answering machines were the only way to “text” people or worse you had to use payphones when you were away from home? How about the boring safety speeches that flight attendants are forced to recite? Or how people never let you finish your own sentences? Or you can hear what is going on in the next hotel room? What about all those times you got up to leave a place and ended up staying an extra hour longer than you intended? Or you were at a conference with your hands full, no place to sit, no place to set anything down? Worse yet... a conversation that starts with “the man called about the thing”? Come see how our zany cast answers these questions and a few more.
