Sobriety Checkpoint Planned In Cecil County
The DUI checkpoint is one way troopers will be looking to keep impaired drivers off the streets.

Troopers from the North East barrack will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint in Cecil County on Friday, June 30, police reported. A location for the checkpoint was not disclosed.
In addition to the checkpoint, police from the North East barrack will be conducting saturation patrols through the weekend and Fourth of July.
Cecil County isn't the only place where troopers will be on the lookout. Officials have also announced a sobriety checkpoint on Friday, June 30, in Harford County.

Police encourage drinkers to download the Safer Ride app, which is sponsored by the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration and pulls up taxi services in the area, if they need a ride home.
