Tornado Watch Issued For Cecil County
For the second day in a row, Cecil County is under a tornado watch.

CECIL COUNTY, MD — Cecil County is under a tornado watch until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29. It is the only Maryland county included in the watch, which was issued after 1 p.m.
A tornado watch means that conditions are favorable for thunderstorms capable of producing a tornado. Those in Cecil County should be prepared and remain aware that a tornado is possible during the watch period.
The Unified Middle School Track Meet that was planned at North East High School Wednesday afternoon has been canceled due to the forecast, according to Cecil County Public Schools.
