Tractor Trailer Flips On Interstate 95 Near Perryville

CECIL COUNTY, MD — After about six hours, the tractor trailer that has overturned on Interstate 95 north of Perryville has cleared. As of 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, authorities said that the crash had been removed from the area.

The incident occurred around midday on Saturday in Cecil County, when authorities said winds were above 30 mph on area bridges.

At 1:39 p.m., the Maryland Transportation Authority reported that the right lane was blocked on I-95 south before the exit for MD 222 because of the overturned tractor trailer.

There were reportedly minor delays during the process of clearing the scene.
