Zoe Mulford in Concert @ Deer Creek Coffeehouse
Location: 1022 Main St., Darlington Date: Saturday, January 10 @ 7:30 pm Suggested donation: $10-Adults, $5-Students

A set by American songwriter Zoe Mulford is like a small volume of short stories - evocative, beautifully crafted, and endlessly varied. Whether her starting point is a polar expedition in 1845 or a Greyhound bus ride in 2007, her vivid storytelling and down-to-earth humor take listeners on an enjoyable journey. This warm and engaging performer backs her clear voice with guitar or claw-hammer banjo and draws on the traditional music on the U.S. and the British Isles to make sense of the modern world. One of Zoe’s songs, “ur Lady of the Highways”, reflects on the local I-95 landmark between North East and Elkton. (www.zoemulford.com)
