Baltimore County Offers Free Vaccines for Seventh Graders

The Baltimore County Department of Health presents “Seventh Grade Saturday” on Sept. 6—a free vaccination event to help students ensure they are in compliance with new state requirements.

By state law, all seventh grade students must have both the “Tdap” (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) and Meningococcal vaccines, according to the health department.

Students do not need to make an appointment for Seventh Grade Saturday, but they should bring their immunization records with them to one of five locations that will provide the vaccines:

• Drumcastle Government Building, 6401 York Rd., Baltimore, MD 21212
• General John Sticker Middle School, 7855 Trappe Rd., Baltimore, Maryland 21222
• Middle River Middle School, 800 Middle River Road, Baltimore, MD 21220
• Old Court Middle School, 4627 Old Court Rd., Milford Mill, MD 21208
• Southwest Academy, 6200 Johnnycake Rd., Baltimore, MD 21207
