Disney on Ice Makes Memories at Sinai’s Children’s Hospital
One special performer shares her successful cancer battle to inspire patients with their own journeys.
Patients at the Herman & Walter Samuelson Children’s Hospital at Sinai made wonderful memories when they met one of their favorite Disney characters in person! Mickey Mouse and his friends from “Disney On Ice presents Celebrate Memories” stopped by Sinai to share Disney magic with the kids and their families.
Among the performers was a skater who knows what the young ones are going through all too well. Adriene Ott has successfully battled Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, herself, and is now cancer free. She shared her experiences with some patients to encourage them to stay positive no matter what they are going through.
Since the children cannot leave the hospital to go to “Disney On Ice presents Celebrate Memories” at Royal Farms Arena, the kids and staff really appreciated that the performers graciously spent their time off at Sinai.

And that wasn’t all. The visit included mouse ears as well as arts and crafts so the patients could use their own imaginations to create masterpieces.
