JCS BIDS FAREWELL TO LONG-TIME LEADER, WELCOMES INCOMING EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, BOARD MEMBERS
Jewish Community Services (JCS) held its 8th Annual Meeting on June 15, 2016 at Beth Tfiloh Congregation in Pikesville. Those present honored out-going Executive Director, Barbara Levy Gradet for her twelve years of agency leadership. The meeting also provided an opportunity to welcome incoming Executive Director, Joan Grayson Cohen, Esq., LCSW-C. Cohen has been a staff member at JCS and its predecessor, Jewish Family Services, for more than two decades.
In addition, four new board members, Allan Levine, Andrew Razumovsky, Barbara E. Schlaff, Esq. and Edward I. Steinberg, were elected to serve a two-year term.
The evening also featured a moving celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Jewish Big Brother Big Sister program, which was chartered by the State of Maryland in 1916 as the Jewish Big Brother Bureau of Baltimore.

JCS, a comprehensive human services agency of The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore, provides a broad array of services that meet the diverse, multi-dimensional needs of individuals and families throughout Central Maryland.
