LifeBridge Health Holds Shred-It & E-Waste Recycle Day

Get rid of personal papers and old electronics free of charge!

Keep your confidential papers away from identity thieves, and get rid of the electronic waste cluttering your house.

The LifeBridge Health Freedom to be Green Team is hosting FREE Shred-It & E-Waste Collection events on Friday, April 20 from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

One location is near Sinai Hospital and Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital in the Pimlico Race Course parking lot on Preakness Way between Northern Parkway and Belvedere Avenue.

The other location is at Northwest Hospital's K-lot at 5401 Old Court Road.

All papers are accepted. Also accepted are old electronics with power cords, batteries, cell phones and eye glasses.

This year, the Green Team will erase and donate the cell phones to Cell Phones for Soldiers and eye glasses to Lions Recycle for Sight.

NOT accepted are TVs, clothing, tires, lawn mowers and hazardous e-waste.

You can also watch your papers being shred while you wait.
