Maryland Lands in Top 10 Most Romantic States

Do you have plans for a traditional Valentine’s Day: Candlelight dinner, maybe a romantic movie?

That’s one way to go.

Or, you could step it up a notch, since Maryland was just named No. 4 on a list of the 10 Most Romantic States as ranked by MyFitnessPal.

Its heat map – you provide your own joke here – provides a breakdown of where people are drinking the most champagne (California), eating the most chocolate (Utah) and – cue the Bill Clinton jokes – having the most sex (Arkansas).

So, do some extra crunches, run by Victoria’s Secret and don some of your best – and hopefully warmest – unmentionables to take part in Cupid’s Undie Run – Baltimore.

The charity encourages runners to hit the streets in scantily-clad style and at the same time raise money for the Children’s Tumor Foundation.

Spoiler alert: Virginia, “ the state for lovers,” bombed out.

Runners should plan to meet up at Luckies Tavern at Power Plant Live, 10 Market Place in Baltimore, any time after noon Saturday. The run will begin at 2 p.m.
