Pikesville Middle School Students Respect Challenge

Students at Pikesville Middle School are learning about respect, and they're getting points for it.

Language arts classes "explored the meaning of respect," and now students are encouraged to cooperate and be respectful toward their peers and adults, according to a news release from Baltimore County Public Schools.

Throughout this school year, they'll collect "respect points" for respectful behavior. Those with enough points will get to attend events such as an outdoor class, a fall festival, and a performance by a step team, it states.
