Cabin John Liquor Store Reopens After COVID-19 Scare

A Potomac liquor store was temporarily closed because an employee was potentially exposed to COVID-19.

POTOMAC, MD — The Cabin John Liquor and Wine store reopened Monday afternoon after it was temporarily closed because an employee was potentially exposed to COVID-19.

Out of an abundance of caution, employees were instructed to quarantine. It resulted in a staffing shortage, forcing Montgomery County's Alcohol Beverage Services (ABS) to temporarily close the store. None of the employees ended up testing positive for COVID-19, according to ABS.

Cabin John Liquor and Wine, located at 11301 Seven Locks Rd. in Potomac, reopened at 12 p.m.
