Churchill's Heart Factory Supports Kids @ Ronald McDonald House
Churchill's Heart Factory creates service projects to support the underprivileged or underappreciated.

All children anticipate the upcoming holidays, but when a child is ill, the entire family is thrown into crisis. It is the little things that matter. So handmade origami trees were made to create Holiday Countdown Calendars for the sick children. Each Tree Village was handmade with love by volunteers reusing donated candy by our community. Twenty five trees for each calendar with a total of 425 trees made collectively. The calendar can be used for Christmas, the family's special holiday or New Year's, inclusive to all.
This project began last year as a family activity. It was so well received that a goal was made to do more this year. Five more calendars were made to support five additional families. That is 125 more trees. We hope this project continues to grow as there is 36 families at the Ronald McDonald House and how great it would be to give each family a calendar.
Churchill Heart Factory lead this initiative with co-presidents Hannah Bush working on her Gold Award and Emily Kim with the following partnerships: Beta Club VES, Troop 4639, St. E’s, Andrea Garcia, Bush Girls, BFES, Accuflow #GivingTuesday #Kindness #Community #GoldAward
