County Council Hosts Town Hall In Potomac

The full Montgomery County Council will be on-hand for a conversation with the Potomac-area community.

Montgomery County Council comes to Potomac Wednesday night for meeting addressing the concerns and needs of the Potomac community.

The meeting at the Potomac Community Recreation Center will start at 8 p.m. on Nov. 7, according to a press release. A pre-meeting reception will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Residents will have the opportunity to meet and talk to Council members, including Council President Roger Berliner (Dist. 1 -- Potomac, Bethesda), Vice President Nancy Navarro, and Council members Phil Andrews, Marc Elrich, Valerie Ervin, Nancy Floreen, George Leventhal, Craig Rice and Hans Riemer.

Officials expect main topics of discussion to include Potomac-area development, schools, budget issues and utility performance following major storms such as the summer derecho and Hurricane Sandy.
