Full Schedule of Montgomery County Fourth of July Fireworks
Parades, live music and other fun is planned across the area on July 4.

Several communities in Montgomery County have Fourth of July parades, picnics and fireworks planned, with two displays sponsored by the county.
Germantown Glory and Mid-County Sparkles displays on Saturday evening will both feature live music prior to the fireworks.
Germantown Glory is located at the Maryland Soccerplex in Boyds. The celebration kicks off at 7 p.m. with a concert by the Tina Turner Revue featuring Suzette Dorsey. Fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m. The Soccerplex is located at 18041 Central Park Circle in Boyds.

Mid-County Sparkles is located at Albert Einstein High School in Kensington. The celebration begins at 7:30 p.m. with a concert by Gringo Jingo performing the best of Santana. Parking is available at Westfield Wheaton with shuttle bus service beginning at 6:15 p.m. The shuttle will have two stops – Westfield Wheaton Metro Parking Garage adjacent to the JC Penney Department Store and the north building parking lot adjacent to Macy’s Department Store. Fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m.

The Town of Chevy Chase will host an Independence Day picnic and parade on July 4, from noon to 2 p.m. on the Lawton Center Grounds. On July 4, the parade will begin at noon at the Lawton Center with bike, scooter, wagon and baby carriage decorating starting at 11:30 a.m. The town will provide decorating supplies.

4th of July Fireworks on the National Mall
Time: At dark, usually around 9:15 p.m. Rain Date: July 5 The fireworks are launched from the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool and light up the sky over the Washington Monument.

Mattie J.T. Stepanek Park, 1800 Piccard Drive, Rockville
Rockville’s Independence Day Celebration is moving to Mattie J.T. Stepanek Park. This new location offers better spectator viewing and ample and convenient parking, as well as a larger fireworks display. The entertainment and fireworks can be viewed from the park grounds. Kensington Fourth of July Bike Parade
Saturday, July 4, 9:45 am - 1 pm
The 20th annual Bike Parade will be held on Saturday, July 4, at St. Paul Park. The Bike Parade begins at 10 am. This event is open to all kids who wish to decorate their bike, scooter, wagon or stroller and follow a Kensington Volunteer Fire Department truck through the streets of Kensington. Poolesville
The Town of Poolesville hosts it traditional 4th of July Family Fireworks at the soccer fields at Hughes and Sugarland Roads. The celebration begins at 5 p.m. and features live music by the Bobby Lewis Band. Fireworks are scheduled for 9 p.m. Parking is $5 per vehicle.
Takoma Park
Takoma Park’s 126th Independence Day Celebration includes live music and a fireworks display at Takoma Park Middle School. Live music by Polyphony Marimba Ensemble begins at 7 p.m. followed by the fireworks display at 9:30 p.m.
